Membership Fees and Other Chargeable Items

  1. It is the policy that visitors to the club have two free weeks in order to try the sport of fencing. After two weeks if they wish to continue they will be expected to join the club and pay their subscriptions appertaining at the time.
  2. Membership Subscriptions (agreed at A. G. M. January 2006):

  3. Full-year subscriptions to be paid no later than 31st January for that year; where paid by instalments, the second instalment to be paid no later than 31st July.
  4. Members who become more than 6 weeks in arrears with their subscriptions will be asked if they could come to some arrangement to pay the subscriptions or abstain from attending the club.
  5. Visitors to the club are liable for a charge of £ 5 per night – payable at the time of, or in advance of, attendance.
  6. The Beginner's Course is subject to a fee of £ 60, including the provision of a glove. This must be paid in advance.
  7. As per the meeting of the Club Committee on 7th June 2006, any private repairs undertaken by the armourer for club members are chargeable at the following rates:

    Other repairs/work price on request
    Payment direct to the armourer.
  8. Charge for Grading examinations, including badge and certificate: £ 5 payment direct to the examining coach.
