It was decided that after the beginners course those who join the club should be introduced to a club member who will act as mentor, fencing them on occasion etc.

PW fed back on information gathered on First Aid courses.
- Sports Northamptonshire - courses are run through the year, First Aid in Sport 2 evenings cost £50 per person.
- British Red Cross - no response to queries.
- St Johns Ambulance - variety of courses provided including; Sports Injury course 6 hours cost £60 per person and Appointed Person course 1 day cost £90 per person.
- Coaches and committee members requiring training were identified.
- PW to speak to St Johns Ambulance and British Red Cross for further information and confirmation of details.

SR detailed current state of accounts including anticipated outgoings, hall hire and charity donations (Gary Baker, Doug Facer competitions) etc. There are currently 2 to 3k in the funds. |
