For the first time, the County Championships were held at Northampton Fencing Clubs new home at Moulton College Sports Hall.
The epee was held on Saturday with all foil events and the sabre on Sunday.
Of the fifteen medals available, club members won eleven with the winners trophies in all but the epee remaining within the club.

Many of the participants from the club and from elsewhere were experiencing their first real competition.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and, unusually for fencing competition, everything ran smoothly and more or less to time.
